In the middle of the forest of dyrehaven is the red cottage.
We love the nature and we try to show it in our menus and inside the restaurant.
During summer and autumn we harvest what grows in the forest and in the lands nearby. We dry, salt, jelly, pickle, and bottle.

We look at our wines the same way we approach our food. We try to find fun interesting wines for our pairing which also follows the seasons. We use both classic and modern styles of wine.
We always serve wine we enjoy ourselves.
Wine should make you happy, that is the most important thing for us. We use wines from all over the world and try to keep diverse selection on our wine list.

We make our nonalcoholic beverages in house.
We base them on things we find nice. It is supposed to be for both young and adults.
We see this as a fun alternative to a wine pairing, if you do not enjoy alcohol.

Private dining from 10 to 26 persons is offer in our exclusive room on the second floor.
Our room is ideal for business meetings, taking out clients for a special evening.
A typical private dining evening may consist of champagne, our 5-7 course menu with wine paring, mineral water and coffee.
Have your next party in the peaceful forest surroundings at Den Røde Cottage. We are always ready to create the perfect atmosphere for your party – whether you´re planning a wedding, a birthday, or a staff party. We can always host up to 26 guests and in summertime we can manage as many as 120.
The party could start with drinks or champagne on the terrace under the tree tops. Then you can stay and dine in the heated terrace space and in the cottage park or go upstairs to our 26 seat dining room on the second floor.
